All tests were successful, the rift rending of two camera inputs work with little latency, and the camera post-processing works with the LUT002 filter to remove all red from the images. The next steps will involve adapting the design for new wide FOV web cameras and prototyping a test rig to fix to the front of the rift to hold the new camera inputs and create a ‘horse mask’ for the front of the headset. This rig will be first prototypes from card, and then laser cut from acrylic sheet for a more stable and robust rig.
